Whether you have chosen a specific theme ( country wedding, travel, bohemian, industrial) or just a frame of color, it will take all your wedding decoration is fitting. And that goes for all the elements of your scenography, from the decoration of the room, through that of the wine of honor, to all the little details which are on your reception tables and around. How to forget none? Here's what you should think about.
SET A DECORATING MOOD
As I told you in the intro, you do not necessarily need a theme hyper-defined and very strict but you must decide anyway a general atmosphere that will allow you not to scatter. This can be simply a variation of colors or an atmosphere ("natural" for example with raw materials). When you make that decision, you will not have to change it because everything else will come out of it. From your wedding stationery to the smallest details of your decor. Is it done? So let's see what you could decorate.
THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR WEDDING RECEPTION HALL
Since you are surely going to do your wedding and even perhaps your secular ceremony, it is important to immediately immerse your guests in the atmosphere by decorating the exteriors of your reception room. Garlands, wholesale silk flowers, and lanterns will be perfect floating with the wind and the movements of the trees. You can also put a few decorative reminders of your theme on the buffet, the photo booth corner or guestbook ... a slate to indicate the table plans, wooden signboards, a table runner burlap (for atmospheres "Nature"), a vase that will also be in the center of the table ... It's up to you to see according to your budget and especially to adapt to your theme.
INSIDE YOUR RECEPTION ROOM
In the air
If, for reasons of the cost you have to make choices, I advise you to really bet on the decoration of your reception room. Because, finally, outdoors, if it ever rains you will not necessarily enjoy your decor, while inside, you're sure there will be no setbacks. You can reuse the same elements as for your wine of honor (lanterns, garlands etc ...) and hang them inside, it will be hot! You can also put the photo booth corner, a candy bar, the guestbook and or the urn ... always making sure the thread of your decor that must be respected.
On your tables
This is a little bit tricky because when you do your table decoration, you must know how to dose to avoid falling into the too much. Indeed, we always have the choice in a panoply of elements all more beautiful than each other (name of the table, place-mark, towel ring, cutlery holder, set of the table ...) and if we pack up and put everything, it will be too busy. To avoid this, here are the essentials: place-mark, centerpiece, wedding party gifts for guests, and name or table number (if any), the rest is a bonus that should be used sparingly. Yes, you can add a table runner, confetti, tealight, and a lot of things but be careful not to overdo it.
