5 Mistakes Make-up not to do on Her Wedding Day

Want a perfect make-up for your wedding? Here are the 5 best not-to-be mistakes to make your makeup successful on D-Day.

 

1. Do not prepare your complexion

For makeup to be perfect, the skin needs to be prepared. A gentle scrub on the whole face avoiding the eyes, but passing gently on the lips, will allow you to remove all the small dead skin that is embedded in the pores, reduce blackheads, activate the circulating blood and therefore to have a more radiant complexion. After your exfoliation, apply a mask to cleanse the skin if you have skin with a tendency to oily or acne, or a mask if you have dry skin. Finally, apply a cream tailored to your skin type every morning, just before the makeup base that will allow the foundation not to move the day.

2. Do not do tests

It is essential to make make-up tests before the big day. Between what is envisioned, hoped for, imagined, and reality, there is sometimes a big gap. We must, therefore, test several make-ups before validating the final result that will be adopted.

3. Put on makeup yourself

Even if you're good at putting on makeup, it's safer to call a makeup pro for her wedding day, if you can. Indeed, you will be photographed all day and to be comfortable, you must be sure that your make-up is durably perfect and remains natural.

4.Have an overloaded makeup

The result of a bridal makeup must be sophisticated and elegant. And even if a  smoky eye can meet these criteria, the day of her wedding is not the right occasion to wear: you may shed some tears, which will transform your smoky eye next to a panda. Similarly, sequins are often popular for this particular day of celebration but they are not recommended: under the flashes of cameras, they will shine and give an unsightly rendering.

5. Do not apply fixative

You will dance, run, move, eat, laugh, and maybe even cry with emotion: a make-up fixer is necessary for the make-up to stay all evening. If you have a make-up by a professional, a fixative should be prepared in your cheap makeup bags and should be applied before and after your makeup. Before makeup your complexion, your eyes or your lips, it is advisable to apply a suitable base so that your makeup adheres well. Once the makeup is complete, you can use a haze-like fixative spray on the entire face for a flawless result.
